Flooded roads and some properties are the image of occupied Famagusta after the first heavy rains today with Geni Duzen writing on her website that main roads have been flooded, inside and around the city, as well as in the industrial area.
According to the report, the rain lasted for an hour and the result was the city "being under water". The newspaper comments that the coastal road was paved inside the fenced city of Famagusta, in the military area, but not roads within the city where it is inhabited and is in poor condition.
