The Larnaca - Ayia Napa highway, which had closed due to a truck overturning near the Livadia area, opened at around nine in the morning.
According to the Press Office of the Police Headquarters, at around 4 am today, a truck overturned on the Larnaca-Ayia Napa highway, closing the road and then closing the Rizoelia roundabout in the direction of Ayia Napa.
Two people were slightly injured and were taken to Larnaca General Hospital as a precaution.
The accident had caused heavy traffic on the highway and the Rizoelia roundabout in the direction of Ayia Napa was closed.
Members of the Police with a private company finally managed to move the truck from the road which has been opened for traffic.
