Students and teachers from the technical school of Avgorou are in Crete these days and lived yesterday's earthquake's nightmare.
Thanasis Arsenis, a professor at the Avgoros Technical School, spoke on the front page about how they experienced the earthquake.
Initially, he stated the following: “On Sunday, we visited the natural history museum of the University of Cyprus by chance and there the students were informed about the earthquake phenomenon. They were able to experience through simulation the two major earthquakes that occurred in Taiwan and Japan.
The students, despite being scared, faced the incident calmly.
At the same time, he added that now they move carefully on the streets, avoiding walking near old buildings.
Then the student Andreas Iordanou, spoke on the Front Page about how he lived through the earthquake.
"It was the first time, I have not experienced an earthquake again. I was with my teacher and we are out of shops. "Once the earthquake started we did not understand it until we saw things fall."
