Another hero of the Turkish invasion will be welcomed by the community of Avgoros.
The previously missing Kyriakos Costas Kalathas will be buried in his hometown on Sunday, March 18.
The funeral service will be held at the Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul of Avgoros.

Kyriakos Kostas Kalathas was born in 1956 in Avgorou. At the age of just 18 he enlisted to fight against the Turkish invaders. It was last seen in the area of Mia Milia on August 14, 1974.
His bones were found and identified by DNA.
