Theodoros Arabatzis served for many years in the local government as a municipal councilor, chairman of the municipal council, chairman of DEYAS, chairman of the Motorway SA and candidate for Mayor, offering to the public with selflessness and self-denial. He was one of the pioneers of the twinning of the Municipality of Serres with the Municipality of Ayia Napa.
