Members of the Crime Prevention Unit (OPE) of Famagusta, Larnaca and Nicosia carried out last night and this morning, a coordinated operation in Ayia Napa, to detect violations related to the circulation of a medicinal product (laughing gas) without permission.
During the operation, the members of the Police identified six persons (30-year-old, 35-year-old, 23-year-old, 20-year-old and two 25-year-olds) in possession of metal bottles, with two mouths, one of which was connected with a balloon and the other with a case ampoule is placed and they were trying to sell to passers-by.
Five metal bottles, 98 unused metal ampoules, 47 used metal ampoules, 139 balloons and a sum of money amounting to € 456 were found as evidence, which were found in her possession.
All six were taken to a police station where they were charged in writing and released to be summoned to court.
The Agia Napa Police Station continues the examinations.
