The memory of the heroes Giannakis Pappoullis and Christakis Christou Pieris who fell during the Turkish atrocity of 1974, will be honored on Sunday, August 2, 2020, Church and State in their birthplace Ayia Napa.
The Most Venerable Metropolitan of Constantia and Famagusta, Mr. Vassilios, will add to the Divine Liturgy and the memorial service at the Holy Temple of Panagia.
The commemorative speech will be delivered by the honorable Mayor of Ayia Napa Mr. Christos Zannettou.
A trishagio and the laying of wreaths on the busts of the heroes will follow.
