A 31-year-old woman was arrested in Ayia Napa for selling laughing gas.
According to the Police, shortly before midnight last night, members of the Famagusta OP, located the 31-year-old, on a street in the Ayia Napa area, selling nitrous oxide - laughing gas.
A search by the police turned up 30 unused ampoules, 78 empty balloons, the sum of 89 euros and a wireless communication device.
The 31-year-old was taken to the Ayia Napa Police Station where she was interrogated and charged in writing with offenses involving negligent and reckless acts.
The girl was released to be later summoned to court.
The Agia Napa Police Station is investigating the case.
