The Paphos Police arrested a 62-year-old man, a foreign permanent resident of Cyprus, for a case under investigation, an attempted abduction and seduction of a minor.
According to the Police, the 62-year-old driving his vehicle yesterday allegedly met a 14-year-old girl on a road in the province of Paphos and suggested that they go to Ayia Napa by car.
The 14-year-old did not accept and reported the case to the Police.
After further investigations, the Police proceeded to locate the 62-year-old, who was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
During interrogation, the 62-year-old made some allegations that are being investigated.
Police are continuing their investigation.
