The "4USTREETS" Photography Exhibition of the internationally renowned photographer Costas Kyriakidis was inaugurated yesterday, Wednesday, at the Municipal Museum "Thalassa" by the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Giannis Karousos.
In his greeting, the Mayor Mr. Giannis Karousos referred to the work of Kostas Kyriakidis in recent years in the field of photography. He made special reference to the photos he has taken during the tragic events of Deryneia in 1996, which made him around the world, informing the whole world of the sad event and the problem of Cyprus.
He also referred to the intention of the Municipality to expand the premises of the Municipal Museum "Thalassa" so as to create a Municipal Gallery, a small Municipal Amphitheater and other public works.
The exhibition will remain open until April 18. Its opening hours are from Monday - Saturday from 09.00-17.00.
