The health condition of the 18-year-old motorcyclist, who was injured on Saturday afternoon, January 6, in a road collision in the Kokkines area of Ayia Napa, remains critical.
According to the Police, the young man is intubated at Nicosia General Hospital in critical condition and continues to be supported by a ventilator.
It is recalled that at around 7.15:59 on Saturday afternoon, a car driven by a 18-year-old man heading from Ioanninon Street to Kokkinon Street in Ayia Napa, at some point of the road, under circumstances that are being investigated, collided with the motorcycle driven by the XNUMX-year-old.
The driver of the motorcycle was injured in the collision, who was initially taken to the General Hospital of Famagusta and then due to the severity of his injuries, it was deemed necessary to transfer him to the General Hospital of Nicosia.
The 59-year-old driver of the car was tested for alcohol with a zero reading, while the 18-year-old was wearing a protective helmet.
The Famagusta Traffic Police and the Ayia Napa Police Station are continuing the examinations.
