A - "Integrated Training Program for Obtaining a Passenger Vessel Certificate (Coastal Skipper), proceeds to the implementation of two Integrated Training Programs in the subject -

B- "Integrated Training Program for Employees in the Fisheries Sector, in Issues of Promotion and Improvement of Their Professional Skills",

C- "Integrated Training Program for Employees in the Fisheries Sector, in Environmental Issues and in Issues of Health and Safety".

The general objective of the project is to offer to the participants, entrepreneurs / business personnel working in the Fisheries Sector of the Intervention Area of ​​TODA *, specialized theoretical and practical knowledge, which will give the opportunity to systematize practical and empirical knowledge, so that they respond the need to upgrade the position of workers in the fisheries sector and in general to strengthen their professional qualifications and prospects.

The Training Program B-Integrated Training Program for Employees in the Fisheries Sector, in Issues of Promotion and Improvement of Their Professional Skills will be attended by a total of 32 trainees.

The training program will have a total duration of 42 educational hours which will include seven Thematic Units:

1. Introduction to Alternative Tourism (9 hours)
2. Small and Medium Enterprise Organization and Management Information (6 hours),
3. Marketing Data (5 hours)
4. Contact Information - promotion (7 hours)
5. Financial Management Data (7 hours)
6. The use of IT systems-E-Commerce (7 hours)
7. Evaluation of the Plan (1 hour).

This training will take place in Cyprus in the period November-December 2021.

The Training Program C-Integrated Training Program for Employees in the Fisheries Sector, Environmental Issues and Health and Safety Issues will be attended by a total of 32 trainees.

The training program will have a total duration of 56 educational hours which will include seven Thematic Units:

1. Introduction Historical Background and Evolution of Fisheries, Introductory Topics in Modern Fishing Modern Fishing Methods, radar sonar (6 hours)
2. Catch Production-Processing Standardization Marketing-Hygiene and Catch Maintenance (6 hours),
3. Shipping-Meteorology (7 hours)
4. Fisheries and Environmental Protection (7 hours)
5. Occupational Health and Safety - Health and Safety Management Systems (14 hours)
6. First Aid (15 hours)
7. Evaluation of the Plan (1 hour).

This training will take place in Cyprus in the period November-December 2021.

Schedules for both Programs may vary depending on the epidemiological picture.

For the specific programs there will be an hourly payment of correspondence corresponding to 5.00 euros per trainee for attending the educational programs.

The right to participate in the training programs B and C have the inhabitants of the Municipalities / Communities of the intervention area of ​​TODA * who are employed in the fishing sector. As evidence, applicants must provide a relevant certificate from the Mayor / Mayor of the community / municipality where they reside and provide evidence that they are employed in the fishing industry.

Each person is entitled to participate, only once in the same training program, for the programming period 2014-2020. Each person can participate in more than one training program.
