The Municipality of Deryneia participates in the European program Young Cities, which, pioneering once again, gives a voice to young people.
Young Cities is a holistic approach that aims to empower young men and women to become agents of positive change in their city.
The purpose of the Program is the creation of "youth" cities, through an innovative and highly participatory process, which focuses on the creativity and dynamics of young people.
Through the program is given the opportunity for Cooperation with other young people from the Municipality, participation in an educational program and development of an action plan and proposal for quality upgrade of our Municipality.
Eligible to participate are young people 14 - 35 years old who are interested in the quality upgrade of the Municipality and the active participation of young people in the local community. Participants will be given diplomas and prizes.
Registrations until September 30, 2020.
The Young Cities program is implemented by the Center for Social Innovation (CSI) in collaboration with RESET, with the support of the Cyprus Youth Organization and the National Betting Authority, and the direct involvement of the Municipalities of Athienos, Aglantzia and Deryneia.
