As part of the European RELIONMED-LIFE Program entitled "Preventing the invasion of the lionfish in the Mediterranean through timely response and targeted removal (LIFE16 NAT / CY / 000832)" a photo exhibition on the lionfish is underway.

The lionfish Pterois miles, is an alien, invasive species that invaded the Cypriot waters, at various depths, and continues to spread to other parts of the Mediterranean.
