A representative of the Police Communication Branch stated to KYPE that during the last 24 hours that ended at 07:00 today, 2.985 checks were carried out throughout free Cyprus.
In Nicosia, 1.243 inspections were carried out and 3 citizens 'complaints were made, in Limassol 186 inspections were carried out with 6 citizens' complaints, in Larnaca 540 inspections were carried out with 1 citizen being reported, in Paphos 2 citizens and 1 estate were reported after 132 inspections, in Famagusta 2 citizens after 351 inspections, while in the area of Morfos 285 inspections were carried out without any complaints.
The Traffic Departments and the Port and Maritime Police carried out 193 and 55 inspections respectively without any complaints.
