In a statement, the Famagusta Tourism, Commercial and Industrial Company states that it has secured a number of masks from the State to be given to businesses. The masks are expected to be delivered to TEVEA tomorrow Sunday (noon-afternoon) and depending on the time of receipt will be available either on Sunday afternoon or early Monday and will continue throughout the week.

Beneficiary companies according to the decisions of the Council of Ministers that can be supplied with masks are:

  1. Public transport (eg bus drivers)
  2. Indoor business spaces that serve the public
  3. Individuals working in direct public service positions in retail businesses (eg cash registers, citizen service, etc.)

Due to the limited number of masks, the above decision of the Council of Ministers will be strictly observed.

More details about the process of disposing of the masks will be announced at a later stage.
