Recyclable materials, car tires and two single-cab vehicles were brought together by Frenaru Community volunteers who participated in the Pancyprian Cleaning Campaign Let's Do It! Cyprus 2021.
A written statement from the Frenaru Community Council stated that "in co-operation with the Community, the army and the schools, the Community Council launched a clean-up campaign on Saturday 30 October. Specifically, 120 volunteers participated in the campaign, from various organizations, including the Kokkinochorion High School "Panou Ioannou", national guards from the camp of Dimitraki Christodoulou - Fotis Pittas, of the Hunting Association and of Olympia Frenarzis of Ekrelos Michael".
The campaign was started by the Frenaros Community Council and, among other things, Foti Pitta Avenue up to the Kokkinochorion High School "Panou Ioannou", Neophytou Poullos and Marios Peka Avenues and part of the road leading to Avgorou Community were cleaned. A total of 95 black bags of mixed materials, 85 transparent bags of recyclable materials, 10 car tires and 2 single-cab vehicles, various useless materials such as furniture, metal objects, watering hoses and more were collected ".
At the end of the campaign "all the volunteers gathered at the site of the Community Council where they formed the slogan of the campaign, namely LET'S DO IT! The Community Council of Frenarus expresses its thanks to its members but also to all the volunteers who participated in the campaign aimed at the cleanliness of the Community, the province, Cyprus and for the whole world ".
