The Ecologists' Movement expresses its support through a statement on the problems faced by the kidney patients of the General Hospital of Famagusta.

Such a statement:

"Kidney patients from the General Hospital of Famagusta have been facing very serious issues for a long time. Specifically, with complaints that we have received, the problems are the lack of doctors and even nurses, but also the issue of infrastructure and the insufficient provision of special services.

We understand that this is a particularly difficult time for the reporting hospital due to Covid - 19 but in no case should this group of citizens be neglected and left to the mercy of God.

We call on the competent services to immediately address the needs of kidney patients / dialysis patients so as to fill in the gaps and deficiencies.

The MP of the Movement, Mr. George Perdikis, on his part sent a letter to the Management of the hospital supporting the rights of patients and asks that the needs of kidney patients / dialysis patients be met immediately.

The Movement of Ecologists - Citizens' Cooperation stands by the kidney patients and supports their request. For this purpose, the District Secretary of Famagusta, Mr. Michalis Paraschos, participated today in a protest event of the kidney patients at the General Hospital of Famagusta. "
