A group of students from the Apostolos Barnabas Special School in Liopetri, managed to take 2nd place in last year's competition and receive the prize of 5000 euros.
According to the announcement of the school, the amount was used for the purchase of equipment for the Physical Education room of our school. Specifically, 2 bicycles were purchased, 2 treadmills for walking and running, a rowing machine and two targets - toys, which will be used by the adorable students of the school

Our school during last school year, participated in the competition of YIANIS CHRISTODOULOU FOUNDATION, entitled ¨HELPING CHILDREN - HANDS UP FOR ALL¨.
All our children had the opportunity, in a beautiful spirit of creation and collaboration and with the help and guidance of the Teaching Staff, to create many constructions, movies, songs, puzzles, etc.
From all these remarkable participations, the construction of Team DG managed to win the 2nd prize, which was € 5000. This amount of money was used to purchase equipment for the Physical Education room of our school. Specifically, 2 bicycles, 2 treadmills for walking and running, a rowing machine and two targets - toys were purchased.
We thank the Yianis Christodoulou Foundation Cyprus both for the cash prize and for the opportunity to work on something so creative.
