Scream of despair of kidney patients in Famagusta (IMAGES)
The kidney patients of the province of Famagusta went down in protest early in the morning, refusing to receive dialysis.
According to them, the main demands of their reaction are the requirement of medical care for seven days a week, since as they report, there is no doctor on weekends and holidays, but not every day from 14:30 onwards.
They also ask for the employment of a Nephrologist who is "on call", so that he can be present whenever there is a need for patient care, not to replace the staff of the unit and not to transport coronavirus kidney patients from other provinces for dialysis to unit, as this will put them in danger.
