A highly innovative and unusual event was organized by the Famagusta Region Tourism Development and Promotion Company in Kiev in collaboration with the then Director of the CTO office Ivan Goropets.
Invited to the event are senior executives of the 12 largest Travel Organizers who have in their program Cyprus and especially the Free Province of Famagusta.
The pioneer of the event was that it was kept away from formalities and trivialities of similar events and presentations. The guests, after being given kitchen aprons from Cyprus at the beginning, were given Cypriot food preparation lessons and then invited to prepare them themselves. Something they did with great enthusiasm and satisfaction, away from competition.
With their statements and posts on Social Media, the guests described the event as "unique", "innovative and original" that allowed everyone to relax in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. On behalf of ETAP, the Director of ETAP Famagusta was present and the inspirer of the whole event, always in collaboration with the help of the CTO office in Kiev.
It is worth noting that Ukraine is a very important market for Cyprus. Especially this year, the Ukrainian market is growing with the Free Province of Famagusta taking the largest share of the market.
