The Salaminio Free University of Famagusta continues for the 12th year organized by the Holy Metropolis of Constantia and Famagusta and the Rector's Office of Planning and Implementation of Official Ceremonies of the University of Cyprus.

The goal of the Free University is to inform the general public through lectures on topical, contemporary and timeless issues.

Through this social and cultural institution, the Salaminio Free University of Famagusta seeks to contribute to the cultural and spiritual upgrading of the free province of Famagusta.

The speakers, members of the teaching and research staff of the University of Cyprus and other Universities, as well as experts from scientific institutes and organizations, through their presentations seek a constructive dialogue with the residents as well as the cultural upgrading of the metropolitan region of Constantia and Famagusta.

For the academic year 2022-2023 there will be six meetings from October to May. This year's lectures will be held on Wednesday, at the old church of Agios Georgios in Paralimni.

The lectures will be broadcast live from the website of the Holy Metropolis (www.imconstantias.org.cy), the social networking pages facebook imconstantias and agiosgeorgiosparalimni as well as from youtube.

The opening ceremony will take place on Friday, October 14 2022, in the context of the XNUMXth Clergy Assembly of the Holy Metropolis of Constantia and Famagusta.

Upon completion of the lectures, during the closing ceremony (May 17, 2023), certificates of attendance will be awarded to members who participated in the lecture program during the academic year 2021-2022.
