A veil of mystery covers the death of the 28-year-old British tourist who was initially found unconscious yesterday afternoon on a tourist boat on the beach of Konnos and was finally found dead during his transfer to Paralimni General Hospital.

The causes of his death will be revealed by the legal autopsy on his body, which will be performed tomorrow at nine in the morning by the Medical Examiner Eleni Antoniou.

According to the facts of the case, the 28-year-old was on the private sea boat with two of his friends and while swimming he lost consciousness.

Immediately, the Port Police rushed to the area where they picked up the young man from the private sea boat and transported him to the Port of Paralimni.

During the journey, the members of the Police provided first aid to the unconscious person, but he did not regain consciousness.

An ambulance was waiting at the port to pick up the young man for transport to the General Hospital of Famagusta.

Upon his arrival at the hospital and despite the efforts of the doctors to keep him alive, the 28-year-old finally failed and his death was finally confirmed.

They are looking for his family

The unfortunate young man had come to Cyprus for a vacation with two of his friends, who are from another European country and who do not know the relatives of the deceased.

Authorities contacted the British High Commission, where efforts are being made to notify his family.
