Tragic end for the 28-year-old man who was pulled unconscious by a tourist boat in a sea area in Protaras.

Specifically, around 17:50 in the afternoon, a message arrived to the Police that a person who was swimming in the sea area of ​​Konnos, in Protaras, was pulled unconscious by citizens who were in a moored private sea boat. They provided him with first aid without regaining consciousness.

Akatos Police of the Port and Maritime Police rushed to the area where they received the unconscious person from the private sea boat and transported him to the Port of Paralimni.

During the journey, the members of the Police provided first aid to the unconscious person, but he did not regain consciousness.

An ambulance was waiting at the port to pick up the unconscious person for transport to the General Hospital of Famagusta.

However, the doctors on duty, despite their efforts to keep him alive, confirmed his death.

Police investigations revealed that the victim is a 28-year-old Briton.
