PARALIMNI: Arrest of two young men for burglary and shoplifting

Two young men aged 25 and 20 were arrested for stealing € 20!

Two young men were arrested to facilitate the police investigations into an investigated case of burglary and theft of a store in Paralimni.

According to the Police, on December 10, at the Famagusta Police Department, a 30-year-old employee of a store located in Paralimni, owned by a 43-year-old from Paralimni, reported that between the dates of 9-10 of the month and 19.00 - 09.00, an unknown person broke into the store and stole from inside the cash register in which there was the sum of 20 euros in various coins.

Members of the Famagusta TAE went to the scene for examinations and investigations revealed that the stranger or strangers entered the store through an iron sliding door which they broke with a sharp object.

For the case, there was a testimony against a 25-year-old man from Paralimni who was arrested yesterday at noon and a 20-year-old foreigner resident of Paralimni who was arrested last night.

Interrogated in a voluntary deposition, the 20-year-old admitted to committing three more burglaries and shoplifting.

The two arrested will appear before the District Court of Famagusta today for the issuance of arrest warrants.

The case is being investigated by the Famagusta Police Department.
