The Famagusta Carnival Committee and the Municipality of Paralimni organize the Tsiknopeptis event which includes the presentation of this year's King of Famagusta Carnival 2024, Dimitris "Pepe" Tsierkezou, plenty of food, drink and entertainment with live music by the band "PROSKYNETES".
The event will start at 19:00 with DJ music and of course the organized ensembles will take over the "tsiknoma", selling traditional dishes of the day, such as skewers, sausages, kokoretsi and sheftalies.
The biggest event of the evening will then take place, the arrival and presentation of this year's King of the Carnival, Dimitris "Pepe" Tsierkezos, who will receive the scepter from last year's royal "couple", Christianas Siopacha and Costas Florentzou.
The evening will continue with food, drink and entertainment with live music from the band "PROSKYNISTES". Dançando School of Dance is participating. Organizers are the Famagusta Carnival Committee and the Municipality of Paralimni.
