Dr. Despo Stavrou, who maintained a personal practice in Sotira, was born in Famagusta and studied at the Medical School of the University of Patras from where she graduated in 1993.
From 1994 until 1997 he worked at the Ophthalmology Clinic of Archbishop Makarios III Hospital in Nicosia.
From 1997 to 2002 she continued my specialization in the specialty of Ophthalmology at the General Hospital of Athens Hippocrates and in 6/2002 she obtained the title of Ophthalmological Surgeon after successful examinations at the Department of Ophthalmology of the University of Athens.
Since December 2002, he operated a Private Ophthalmology Clinic in Artemisa Attica and since January 2017 he has been active in Famagusta Cyprus with a second private clinic operating in Sotira Famagusta.
At the same time, he was active in high-level Ophthalmological Hospitals of Athens and Larnaca, where he performed cataract, glaucoma, refractive surgery, laser operations, etc.
