Photos and details of a 38-year-old man, who is wanted in connection with an attempted murder case, are being released by the Police, with the aim of gathering information that may lead to his identification.
This is Prodromos Pantelis, date of birth 24/12/1984, from Strovolos, against whom a judicial arrest warrant has been issued, for the purposes of investigating a case of committing the offenses 1. Attempted murder, 2. Illegal possession of a firearm, 3. Illegal possession and transportation of firearm ammunition, and 4. Conspiracy to commit a felony. According to the information under investigation, the offenses were allegedly committed on November 21-22, 2023, in Sotira, Famagusta district.
According to the police, the suspect allegedly shot at two people in a moving vehicle in the area of Sotiras at the time in question, with the bullets hitting only the car.
