While the construction works of Sun City Spa Resort & Residences, at Agia Theklas beach in Sotira, are proceeding at a very intensive pace, in order for the project to be completed at the end of 2019, a new corresponding gem is expected to acquire the free area of Famagusta.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Jim Chang Global Corporation Group's office in Paralimni, the group's CEO, Tommy Chen, revealed that the company's investments will be expanded in the near future with the creation of Sun City 2, Sun City Mall and supermarkets.
As part of the cooperation of Chinese investors with Giovanni Group through the Jim Chang Giovanni consortium, in addition to the first five-star mixed development hotel in Sotira, Sun City 2 is also planned, which, according to information, is expected to be built in Ayia Napa area.
This investment is in the immediate plans of the group, which will be finalized in the near future.
On the other hand, the Sun City Mall and the creation of supermarkets, which are in the long-term plans of the Chinese group, are expected according to the plans to be built in the area of the Sun City under construction.
Sun City Spa Resort & Residences, at a cost of over € 50 million, is the first mixed tourism development complex in the area to combine residential units and a five-star hotel.
The construction works of the project, which started in June 2017 in the coastal area of Sotira, near the Ayia Napa Marina, are estimated to be completed in two years.
It is considered important to create at least 150 jobs for the Municipality of Sotiras, from which the local community and economy will benefit.
