Aiming to promote the tourism product of the province of Famagusta, a delegation of the Famagusta Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP) has been in Lebanon since last night.

A written announcement of the Company states that "a mission of the Famagusta ETAP, consisting of the Mayors of Paralimni, Ayia Napa and Sotiras and hoteliers of the area left last night for Beirut. The aim of the mission is to make presentations, workshops and other activities in more than 70 tourist offices in Lebanon regarding the tourist product of Cyprus ".

The President of ETAP, the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Giannis Karousos, stated that "Lebanon has excellent prospects as it is a country that is only 20 minutes away from Cyprus by air, with accessibility of more than three flights a day. "It is a country with a population of 6 million people, it is a market through which we can attract" quality "tourists while arrivals from Lebanon can increase significantly on a year-round basis."

The statement added that "according to Mr. Karousos, the purpose of the visit to Lebanon is to inform travel agents and travel agencies about the product and the tourist experience we offer. At the same time, we will inform about our vision for the tourism of the free province of Famagusta ".
