The Famagusta Tourist, Commercial and Industrial Company welcomes the decision of the Council of Ministers to approve the Action Plan for the gradual resumption of flights and the reopening of airports.
This fact is an important parameter for the tourist season of 2021 and gives the opportunity for timely planning by the interested travel agents and will eliminate the phenomenon of constant rotation of countries in categories, which negatively affected the tourist arrivals in 2020.
According to the plan, tourists will be allowed to arrive from all European countries and from some third countries with which Cyprus is connected in terms of tourism, such as Russia, Israel, Ukraine, etc.
Finally, the indications for the approval of vaccines in January in the European Union, but also the fact that countries like the United Kingdom have started vaccinations, are good news and optimism for the beginning of the end of the pandemic and better days in 2021.
