Turkey's drilling operations in the Eastern Mediterranean and, in this case, violations within the continental shelf / EEZ of the Republic of Cyprus continue at full speed.
According to a report in the Turkish newspaper Sabah, the Yavuz drilling rig has started operating outside occupied Karpasia and will operate in the area for three weeks.
At the same time, the other "Conqueror" drilling rig has been working hard west of Akamas and will continue drilling for a few more weeks, as it has now reached 5km above sea level.
Also, according to Sabah, the research seismograph "Oruc Reis" will travel to the Eastern Mediterranean to support the well-known Barbarossa in its seismic surveys.
All this under the watchful eye of the Turkish Armed Forces, which control the safety of drilling rigs and research vessels, with submarines, unmanned aerial vehicles and naval frigates.
