With great emotion, believers from every corner of Cyprus celebrated the Epiphany today in occupied Famagusta after 42 whole years.
Among them were the Mayor of Famagusta Alexis Galanos, members of the Municipal Council, as well as MPs from Famagusta.
The Divine Liturgy and the Great Sanctification of the Epiphanies were performed in the Holy Temple of Agios Georgios of Exorinos in the walled city of Famagusta.
The diving ceremony of the Holy Cross and the consecration of the waters followed in the sea area of "Glossa".
