Four gold rings worth more than two thousand euros were stolen from a house owned by a 44-year-old woman from Sotira.

According to the Police, a 44-year-old bank employee reported yesterday to the Famagusta Police Department that between the dates of April 26-28, 4 gold rings worth a total of 2.135 euros were stolen from her home in Sotira.

Men from TAE Famagusta went to the scene where after investigations they did not find any trace of violation in the house.

However, the doors and windows of the house were open and as the 44-year-old told the Police, she usually leaves them open and is absent from the house.

The house does not have an alarm system while the jewelry is not covered by security.
