A fire broke out last night in a greenhouse in Sotira, causing damage the value of which has not yet been calculated.
According to the Police, yesterday shortly before midnight, a fire broke out in a greenhouse in the area "Mavroskotomenos" in Sotira, owned by a 31-year-old resident of Deryneia.
The fire was noticed by passing drivers and was extinguished by local and foreign workers, before the Fire Department arrived.
The fire in the greenhouse caused damage, the amount of which is hitherto unknown.
The scene is guarded by the Police and with the first light of day, investigations into the causes of the fire will begin, in collaboration with the Fire and Electromechanical Service.
