89,4% of Turkish Cypriots believe that a number of Turkish troops should remain in Cyprus even after a possible solution, while 88,8% believe that Turkish guarantees should remain as they are.

This refers to the first part of the investigation of the Turkish company Gezici that was done on behalf of the Turkish newspaper Dialog (Dialogue) and was published yesterday. The participants in the survey on the issue of whether or not the Turkish guarantees remain or not answered 88.8% that they should remain as they are, "Turkey's guarantees are out of the question". When asked whether or not EU membership provides an adequate guarantee after the solution, 75.5% said that EU membership does not provide an adequate guarantee, while 24.5% answered that it provides an adequate guarantee.

Regarding whether they consider the "president" Akinci successful or not, 52,1% answered that they consider him successful and 47,8% unsuccessful. For their views on how Mustafa Akinci defends the rights of the "TRNC", as reported by the pseudo-state, 37% consider that his attitude towards the Greek Cypriots is weak, 32,2% consider that he is constantly retreating, 30% believe that they are defending their rights well and 27% believe that they are defending them as much as the previous "president" (s.s.
