A very interesting cultural event with humanitarian and social content will take place on March 23, 2017, at 19.30, at the Multipurpose Center of Avgoros.
As part of the event, the poetic and short story collection of Eleni G. Tyrimou will be presented.
The poetry collection is an ode to the pain and agony experienced by the families, parents and friends of the missing during the Turkish invasion of 1974. An agony and a constant pain, a flame that does not go out until the fate is fully determined of their people.
Several of her poems have been set to music and will be presented for the first time at this event, by the "By Hearing" orchestra.
The event will be honored by the presence of Dr. George Kitromilidis President of the Pancyprian Cultural Association. Presentation of the poetic and short story collection by the philologists Pavlos G. Pavlou and Petroula Themistokleous - Ioannou.
Narration of a story by the actress Pantelitsa Loizou.
Recitations of poems by award-winning writers and interpretation of melodic poems by the musicians Nasos Georgiou, Michalis Metaxas and Giagos Antoniou. Interpretation of songs by Chara Sophocles and Giagos Antoniou.
