Entrepreneurship exhibition in the free area of ​​Famagusta is organized at the end of March by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Famagusta, which will be attended by companies engaged in the full range of trade, such as trade, industry, construction, agricultural and agricultural products, and services… 

In his statements, the Secretary of the Chamber, Iakovos Hadjivarnavas, stated that "the aim of the entrepreneurship exhibition is to promote the products produced or traded by companies originating in Famagusta".

"Of course priority will be given to companies operating in the free area of ​​Famagusta, but it is possible that companies from Famagusta will also participate, regardless of where they are today," he said.

He explained that the purpose of the exhibition is to promote the products, "but also to strengthen the relations between the companies, to make known the products produced to the general public of the province, but also in other provinces", adding that "a conference will be organized at the same time which will deal with economic issues, while various social events will be held to give the public the opportunity to visit the exhibition.

Answering a question, Mr. Hadjivarnava said that "it is expected that around 50 companies will take part in the exhibition, which deal with the whole range of trade, ie trade, industry, construction, local production, local, agricultural and agricultural products, even services ".

He added that very soon invitations will be sent to the schools of the free region of Famagusta in order to visit the exhibition and children to get in touch with both the companies and the local products, which are produced in the area, so that they become known and preferred by consumers.

Asked whether EBE Famagusta will participate in tourism or business exhibitions abroad, in order to advertise the entrepreneurship exhibition it organizes, Mr. Hadjivarnava replied that "an effort will be made to promote the exhibition both in Cyprus and abroad."

"An effort has already been made through the Cyprus Tourism Organization for a group of journalists who will visit Cyprus in March to visit the exhibition in order to get to know the products and businesses of the free Famagusta region," he said.

He also mentioned that the appropriate advertisement will be made in order to attract many interested people from abroad, but noted that "this exhibition will be mainly addressed to the internal market and the goal is for both Cypriot citizens and Cypriot businessmen to visit the exhibition".

The Secretary of EBE Famagusta said that "the venue of the exhibition is the 'Zappeion' hall located between Paralimni and Deryneia, which will be separated properly to take part as many companies in the free area of ​​Famagusta."
