Two injured in a car accident in Ayia Napa

Two British tourists, aged 19 and 18, respectively, who were injured in a road accident that took place this morning in Ayia Napa, are being treated for a head injury in a polyclinic in Paralimni.

According to the Police, today, 15 minutes after midnight, a car driven by a 50-year-old Greek Cypriot from Paralimni, on the Larnaca - Ayia Napa highway, near the Ayia Napa roundabout, hit a leading moped driven by an 19-year-old man of.

Both occupants of the moped were injured in the accident. They were transported by ambulance to a private polyclinic in Paralimni, where the doctors on duty found that they had a craniocerebral injury.

The two young men, who were wearing safety helmets, were kept in the clinic for treatment, however, their health condition is considered out of danger.

Police conducted an alcohol test on both the driver of the car and the driver of the moped with zero indication in both.
