The President of LAOS, G. Karatzaferis, requested a change in the legislation, in order to allow the police to use weapons, even without being the first to be attacked, during a debate in the Parliament, a topical question to the Minister of Civil Protection for security issues…
"We can not be hungry and scared," said Mr. Karatzaferis, asking Michalis Chrysochoidis to take measures to reduce crime.
"We will restore social peace and security in public places," the minister replied.
