Police in Paralimni are investigating a case of illegal street vending of branded perfumes and watches, which seem to be imitations.

According to the Police, on Friday afternoon, members of the Paralimni Police Station, in collaboration with members of the Famagusta traffic police, located in Paralimni, four Greeks, aged 24 to 34, who are all residents of Limassol and who were roaming without permission.

The four men were in possession and trying to sell to passers-by, branded perfumes and watches, which appear to be imitations.

The Police confiscated 22 perfumes and 16 watches which will be handed over to the Customs for further examinations, regarding their authenticity and their further handling.

An investigation carried out by the Police revealed that against one of the four, three fine warrants were pending for the total amount of 505 euros.

The 33-year-old was arrested and taken into custody, while later a relative paid the amount and was released.

The case is being investigated by the Paralimni Police Station.
