"AYIA NAPA TRIATHLON 26", organized by the Triathlon Club of Nireas and the Municipality of Ayia Napa, was held with great success today, Sunday, March 2017.
The race was attended by 422 athletes from 20 different countries, who took part in the Triathlon distance (1.9km swimming, 90km cycling and 21km running) in triathlon (1.5km swimming, 40km cycling and 10km running) and in sprint triathlon ( 750m swimming, 20km cycling and 5km running).
The Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Giannis Karousos, awarding the prizes to the winners, said that such events contribute to the promotion of the region abroad, to the upgrading of sports tourism in Cyprus and the tourist product of the region.
