A meeting of the potato growers of Sotira Famagusta was held this morning at 9:30 at the ONISILOS Sotiras Association, with representatives of the OGA and deputies of the Province of Famagusta to discuss the issue of compensation for potato growers due to the catastrophes.
The meeting was attended by Mayor Sotiras and municipal councilors, representatives of OGA, General Secretary of Panagrotikos Nektarios Karyos, DISY MP Kyriakos Hatzigiannos and AKEL MP Giannakis Gabriel.
The potato growers expressed their complaints about the way the OGA recorded the damage and demanded that the damage be recorded immediately and that the problem be seen from the frost.
