The Epitaph service will not take place this year at Agios Georgios Exorinos in occupied Famagusta.
A press release of the organization "Famagusta is our city", states that "after the prohibition of the occupation authorities and despite our coordinated and intense efforts, unfortunately the Epitaph service in the church of Agios Georgios Exorinos will not take place".
Therefore, it is added, "we invite those who want and can, to participate together with our captives in the procession of the Epitaph in the church of Agios Synesios in Rizokarpaso, which will take place on Good Friday at four in the afternoon."
The press release expresses gratitude "to our compatriots T / C for their support and persistent efforts."
