The Directorate of Secondary Technical and Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture, in collaboration with the Architect / Industrial Designer Mr. Nikolas Nikolaou, MAA MDD who lives and works in Copenhagen, responding to the challenges of the times, organizes the first Exhibition on and Innovation "in Cyprus, today, Monday, April 7 at 7 pm at Sotiras Town Hall
The aim of the Exhibition is to highlight the importance of innovation and creative action in Cyprus, as these sectors have the potential to create ways of dealing with the current difficult economic situation and a lever of economic growth in our country. The Exhibition will present designs and three-dimensional models of innovative products, designed by the Technical Schools.
In the modern world of globalization, national economies do not survive on services alone. It is now understood that the number of jobs and the level of wages are directly linked to sustainability and competitiveness in all sectors of the economy. The current economic conditions prevailing in our country require a shift to new sectors, in order to achieve balanced economic growth.
The development of smart industry and the production of quality products based on creative design and new technology are a very promising choice with many possibilities. The Cypriot has always been a creative and inventive mind. Developing the knowledge, skills and abilities of young people, along with their talents and innate characteristics, are the key to building a new promising perspective.
The Exhibition will be presented in all the provinces of Cyprus.
