The Holy Diocese of Constantia-Famagusta announces that tomorrow, Wednesday, February 1, 2017, the arrival of the holy relic of Saint Barnabas Vasas from the homonymous community of Vasas Koilani of Paphos province will take place at the Holy Temple of the Apostle Barnabas Syronikos.
The holy relic will be carried by the Archimandrite of the Holy Metropolis of Paphos, Mr. Tychikos, accompanied by Hierol. First Deacon of the Holy Metropolis of Paphos Fr. Odysseas Aspromallis.
The official reception will take place at 17:00 pm on Wednesday on the main road in front of the Holy Temple of St. Barnabas by the first council of the Holy Metropolis, Archim. Augustino Kkara and the priesthood of Deryneia. Then a procession will be formed to the temple where the festive Vespers of the Assumption of the Lord will be performed.
The holy relic will remain in the temple for worship until Sunday, February 5, 2017.
