Unemployment in Cyprus has reached 11% and has exceeded the average unemployment rate in the European Union according to official data…

The alarming rise in unemployment on the island does not wake up any competent, no Ministry and no employers' federation. Everything has been left to the innocence of the market with the descent of thousands of community members who unfortunately displace the Cypriots.

We have nothing to do with community workers who also have every right to a better life. This right is also given by the European Union and we, as citizens of the Union, have it.

But Cyprus is a small island, at war with Turkey, which owns 40% of its territory, and 200 refugees in the country itself.

The government also provides 100 Turkish Cypriots with medical care and other benefits, free of charge, without them being taxed or serving their country.

Recently, due to budget deficits, the Government requested the involvement of the EU support mechanism. for consolidation of the economy.

If we love this place that is Greek for more than 2000 years and that is in danger of altering the current demographic data, we must support the Greek Cypriot unemployed.

The Cypriot companies have an obligation to support our unemployed and to give at least some vacancies of their businesses to the Cypriots.

Why do we see a kind of racism by some employers towards Cypriot workers because they demand their rights.

Because it is the Cypriots who serve in the National Guard to maintain security in the Cypriot companies, it is the Cypriots who mostly pay their taxes so that our state can survive, it is the Cypriots who according to the law must fulfill their obligations to the homeland.

Why - oh no idiot- in a raid by the Turkish troops are the Cypriots who will rush to keep these sacred lands.

And the community θα will just wait anxiously, when the planes will arrive from their homeland to escape.

Therefore, I believe that it is the duty, the patriotic duty, of the Cypriot companies to employ first Cypriots and then Community members.

At this moment, the salvation of our homeland is paramount despite the untold profits.
