"It is a measure that will be announced in detail by the Central Services, but in any case our goal is to upgrade the quality criteria received by the residents of the area," said Mr. Pamporidis. To a relevant question, the Minister answered that "it is wrong to give a piecemeal picture of the reform concerning the management of blood in the territory".

"It is an issue that must be explained given the changes that are being introduced, there is now molecular control which ensures the safety primarily of patients, that no mistakes will be made and that samples will not be transfused that will not be adequately controlled" concluded the Minister of Health .
