A twinning event was held on October 18, 2016 in the city of Trieste, Italy, at the Open-Air Museum of Folk Art of Traditional Professions of the Municipality of Deryneia and the Coffee Museum of Trieste.
During the event, the Cooperation Agreement of the two Museums was signed by the Head of the Trieste Coffee Museum and the Mayor of Deryneia. In a special area of the Trieste Coffee Museum, traditional Cypriot coffee serving utensils are on display, donated by citizens of Deryneia.
