A 10-year-old student was transported to the hospital in the afternoon with a black eye and swollen lips, when a 40-year-old teacher who teaches at the Savior all-day school under the service market regime, closed the door of the classroom and hit him in the face.
According to information from the Livenews website, the incident took place this afternoon, when according to what the teacher himself said, the student had not cleaned the art brushes and left the classroom. The teacher reportedly went to the other classroom and forcibly grabbed the student and took him to the other classroom, where he closed the door and the classroom curtains and started beating the student all over his body and head.
The father of the child and the 10-year-old have already given a statement to the Police. According to the same information, the student is expected to go to Larnaca Hospital for an MRI.
According to LiveNews, this is not the first time that this teacher has handcuffed a student.
The School Parents' Association stood by the student and his family from the first moment.
